Reading at Edgartown Books

I’m not sure when it started, but Martha’s Vineyard is a veritable must for anyone whose anyone in the book industry. Extremely excited to rub elbows with some literary hot-shots (or at least be on the same island!), I’ll be reading at Edgartown Books this summer!

Where: Edgartown Books: 44 Main St, Edgartown, MA 02539

Book tour stops in Seattle!

I am so excited to return to Seattle — with a book! During my two years at UW I did a ton of writing, and some of it wasn’t terrible. I spent full days and nights writing and studying writing, and falling over myself in lust over the amazing literature coming out of that city. Much of my book was edited and re-written in Salt Lake City, but these stories were all hatched in Seattle. And though I’m just starting my career, I like to think that I’m a writer that came out of Seattle, in some small way.

When: Saturday, July 13th, 7pm

Where: Third Place Books, 6504 20th Ave NE, Seattle

Reading at Brookline Booksmith!

A childhood dream realized! Seriously, growing up my dad and I used to walk to Coolidge Corner and get ice cream at J.P. Licks and then head over to Booksmith, where I would proceed to pick out more books than I could carry. My dad is not a frivolous man, but he always bought me my books.

Suffice to say, I cannot believe my name will be on that outdoor chalkboard. Mind = blown.

When: July 15, 6:30pm
Where: Brookline Booksmith: 279 Harvard St, Brookline, MA 02446

Reading at Westminster College

I will be reading alongside poet Susan Howe as part of the Westminster Poetry Reading Series (and no, I won’t be reading poetry, exciting as that would be).
When: November 14 (time TBA)
Where: Westminster College (venue TBA)
